11 Arrested at Jay Z/Beyonce Concert

On Saturday, 11 people were arrested at a concert that took place at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. 55 Thousand Fans came to see Jay and Beyonce perform. Out of those 55 thousand, 8 were arrested for public drunkenness, 2 people for ticket scalping and 1 man who was accused of biting another man’s finger tip off.

Roberto Alcaraz Garnica, 25, was charged with sexual battery and mayhem according to Los Angeles records. In legal terms, Mayhem is defined as disfiguring or disabling a part of the victim’s body. The attack allegedly occurred after Alcaraz was confronted by the boyfriend of a woman he groped.

Pasadena Police Lieutenant John Luna commented on the arrest, “The suspect sexually assaulted the female victim, the woman’s boyfriend confronted the alleged groper, and a fight ensued. During the altercation, the suspect bit the victim, the victim lost the tip of one of his fingers.”

Pasadena Police took the suspect to the local Police Department jail.
