“Make it Quick Bandit” Suspected of 12 South Bay Bank Robberies

Posted on by

On September 20th the criminal dubbed the “Make it quick bandit” made his 12th bank robbery in the South Bay area. According to local authorities this is the fourth time he has robbed the same U.S. Bank branch.

This is the bandit’s 12th bank robbery since the beginning of 2009 announced Gardena Police. The U.S. bank branch at 1221 S. Gaffey street in San Pedro has been robbed by this same man on four different occasions, twice in 2009 and now twice in 2013, marking the first two robberies the “make it quick bandit” is suspected of and his two latest robberies.

The bank robber got his name the “Make it quick bandit” because he urges the bank tellers to quickly hand over cash to him, often pointing out to them that there are customers waiting.

All 12 robberies have taken place at U.S. bank branches located inside stores. The robber usually cases the store, spending the time prior to the robbery wandering through the store’s aisles before going towards the bank.

The subject has been caught on camera repeatedly, always wearing sunglasses to cover his face.
